Center for Innovation Staff Bruce Gjovig – Entrepreneur Coach & Director of the Center for Innovation. Bruce has been North Dakota’s “go-to guy” for entrepreneurship, innovation, and capital investing since he launched the Center in 1984. As a visionary, Bruce strategically directs the Center and is continually innovating. He coaches entrepreneurs on strategies and capital formation. Kenville – Rainmaker & V.P. of Development - In Sept. 2006 Tom joined the Center for Innovation Foundation to help leverage the support of UND Alumni, friends and successful entrepreneurs from around the world. In addition to his work at the Center, Tom is himself a successful entrepreneur. He owns and operates manufacturing, property development and consulting businesses. Tom is the managing member of the Hilton Garden Inn in the UND Tech Park and chairs the Valley Angel Fund. – 777-3281, tom@innovators.net Lee Groeschl – Finance and Investment Consultant - As a consultant, Lee works with entrepreneurs and early stage companies to secure debt and equity financing. Lee also has experience in marketing and business plan development, and coordinates Angel investing and the Power of Angel Investing Seminars. Lee has been with the Center since April, 2006. – 777-6511, lee@innovators.net Rodrigo Cintra - International Marketing Director - Prior to joining the Center for Innovation staff in July, 2007, Rodrigo worked with the Canadian Consulate and the North Dakota Trade Office on international trade opportunities. With a background in international business, Rodrigo focuses on assisting entrepreneurial companies that are interested in capturing domestic and international markets, as well as promoting the Center's services. - 777 3970 rodrigo@innovators.netDella Kapocius – Director of Getting Really Cool Grants - Della has filled the role of Grant Writer for the Center and the College of Business and Public Administration since October, 1999. Della also provides grant writing services for our entrepreneur clients. She not only writes the grants she finds them too. – 777-3795, della@innovators.net Celia Rosencrans– Office Czar (Manager) - Celia is office manager and bookkeeper for the Center for Innovation. Since August, 1996 Celia has been responsible for all the bookkeeping and keeps everything running smoothly, she is known as the “solution” person at the Center. – 777-3020, celia@innovators.net Amy Indridason – Venture Catalyst - Amy is a graduate student assistant. She works in a variety of areas, but spends most of her time on grant research, web development, and database development. She has been with the Center since August, 2006. – 777-6053, amy@innovators.net Matt Maurer - Concept Cultivator - Matt is a senior in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. His background involves growing start-ups from the seed stage, and helping them become ripe for investment; yet he also has experience from the investor side. This click-and-run network soldier has been marching around the Center since October, 2006. – 738-2424, jason@innovators.net Ryan Mayer - Assistant to All - In addition to greeting visitors and answering the phone, Ryan assists Center for Innovation staff, incubators tenants, and clients with a variety of tasks and projects.
