Who: Grand Forks Native Patty Purpur.

Patty is a dynamic presenter and motivator with proven track record in achieving results through rapport building and creating energy within a variety of group settings and audiences.  She was the founder, President and CEO of Timeout Services, a Cupertino, California company, founded in1992. Timeout services provided a full range of services to develop and manage corporate fitness centers including facility design, equipment specification and procurement, staffing and wellness programming.  Clients included Cisco, Google, Safeway, Yahoo! and KLA-Tencor. She grew the organization to 100+ employees and $5+ million in annual sales by 2008.  In 2009, Timeout Services was sold to Plus One Holdings, a New York holding company.  She is also the Co-Director of the Stanford University Health Promotion Network, a former Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) President and Board Member, and a Board Member of the National Association of Women Business Owners – Silicon Valley.   She holds a BA in psychology from Stanford University and was Captain of the Women’s track team while a student there.
